Made a split cross for a silent auction to benefit my son’s swim team:

Also tried out the guillotine I made yesterday to make the stem on this fuller:

It worked really, really well. Forging the stem took about five or six heats; I estimate that I could probably do it in four, maybe even three.

(This after I figured out that I could get more power out of the treadle hammer by dropping my weight on my supporting leg before engaging the downward thrust of my stomping leg.)

thanks Jen.  that is useful info.  I was planning on epoxying them in, but I might drill them through and do the traditional install.  I have enough tang to draw it out enough to do that.
