apexmateria
Thanks guys, I was really curious what it was. I don't think I'll have any use for it, is there something more useful I can re-forge it into?
JHCC
Not knowing what it's made of (steel vs. brass, solid vs. tube, etc), it's hard to say. It's probably better for you to sell it to someone who wants it and will pay you more than the scrap cost. Then go buy some steel.
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
For years, I used a pair of those for pick up tongs, when I would drop hot steel or needed to clean out fire pot clinkers. I finally made a pair of pick up tongs.
apexmateria
Good advice, thanks JHCC. I'll do that. Maybe you guys can help me ID these hoof nippers too:
BillyBones
I am not very knowledgeable about horses nor the farrier trade, but i think those nippers are actually used on cattle.
