Plj271
Could anyone give any insight on what brand this anvil may be? The seller said it is 3.5" wide, 7" tall, and 14.5" long and over 100 pounds. Thanks for any input.
ThomasPowers
WHAT COUNTRY IS IT IN? If you had a used car would it be more likely to be a Lada or a Ford---makes a huge difference if it's in Russia or the USA right? To know if it's a good anvil you don't need to know the brand. You need to know the results of the ball bearing test and the ring test---done by someone who can evaluate those results. Just from the pictures I would be wary that it's a cheap cast iron anvil. It could be a nice cast STEEL anvil though and the tests will tell you!
