jlpservicesinc
I love to have shelves on the anvil stand.. I also like them to articulate so they can be moved out of the way or put into any position I need them in.. Also under the pritchel hole or hardie hole to catch drifts or items pushed thru the hole.. this way they can land in a can full of water and it speeds up the process. Peppie
Been working on mine for a week or so. Just finished protection from rust. Waiting on my anvil to be delivered. Both top and bottom shelves swivel independently. I can also totally remove them if needed.
jlpservicesinc
Peppie, nice work. Upper Hammer/tong rack? Do you have any idea what you want to use the space for?? Anything in particular? for each shelf? Love the mockup of the anvil. Nice work.
Peppie
Upper shelf will be for my most used hammers and a butcher's brush. Bottom shelf will be a catch- all. The wait for my piggy anvil is killing me! Should have it by the end of next week. I think I am going to install a couple tubes under the anvil base plate to accept a vise mount. Peppie
Two steps forward, one step back. Decided I needed a 3rd hand on the stand. It swivels, and had two mounting ports welded to the inside of the steel column.

Peppie
A little light duty "to hold things in place" while I smack it with a hammer. Thing-a-ma-Bob. Just got the anvil yesterday. The UPS man made my day! #198 Italian Piggy!
