Hi everyone,

I've been lurking around for a while, and I've now got a few things to offer for sale so I thought it was time to join, all proper.

I've been messing around with metal and antique machinery for the last 20 years, and learned a lot by watching some very talented people and learning what I could from them. I've also experimented with making custom metal furniture for a living and worked in the restoration industry on heritage buildings. In the last year I've been lucky enough to get a job with a company of blacksmiths who specialize in restoration of antique wrought metals. We also do new high-end work, so it's fair to say that I'm feeling very grateful and excited and will (hopefully!) be learning a lot in the coming years. For those wondering, the shop has 3 forges- 2 gas and 1 coal- and a 1 cwt Pilkington hammer
