GMoore
For the past few days, I've been putting together a sand blasting from Harbor Freight. Now, I know, Harbor Freight equipment is not the best, more like a place to buy something I might use every other year. Be that as it may, I need a sand blaster to clean up a few things. And, I'm sure, when finished, the Champion blaster cabinet will fill that need. The parts are adequate. The holes, generally, line up. It is what it is! The instruction manual (for assembly) are a joke, and not a very good one, at that. The drawing are obscure (and, tiny). Important steps are left out, or are out of order. And, it reads like a mystery book. That off my chest. It is what it is!
51 Papy
G Doesn't sound like much has changed in the past 10 yrs. Mine has been going strong for that long. I would hate to make a living with it but it has done several cars. Absolutely NO SAND! Silicosis of the lung will kill you! It's real. The company I used to work for was involved in several law suits. Coal slag is available almost everywhere in the country in different grits, it's reusable and it cuts better than sand. It's a little higher priced when you buy it but, if you collect it and run it through a screen, it's cheaper in the long run. Use all PPE and have fun! Daswulf
I purchased one a few years back. Got it home and started unpacking it. Kept pulling out parts that were bent or dented, but being a bodyman i was shrugging it off saying I'd just straighten the parts out. That is till I pulled out the plastic doorwhich was so mangled that there was no fixing it, so I took it back. Of course it was their last one, and I haven't bothered getting another one even tho I know I'd use it a lot. *sigh
