Guest 0a2387da3bdf518294fb5a3165c3bd7b
Ok, dad is in the nursing home for rehab. He goes five days a week for that. He is doing Ok for the shape he is in and his age. He is 78. His legs are all swelled up but they are working on that with meds. He has alot wrong with him. Congestive heart failure for one. He has a strong constitution and he is very bull headed. I have had to get after him a few times for not cooperating with the nurses and the rehab guy. I tell him he would'nt have put up with one of us doing that. Then he says OK I will try to do better. Anyway I told him that you guys were sending word up for him and that Roger was rubbing Willies belly for him, he got a laugh out of that one. The rehab guy says he is doing well with his strength and he is walking pretty good. Its not so easy to come back from what he went through. He keeps trying though. Had him home the last few sundays for dinner. He loves getting out for the day. Hates going back. I don't blame him one bit. I would hate it too. But he knows he will be home soon so that keeps him going. Steve Parker
