Got to google the term closed dies, I haven't heard other than press dies in the down position. When you stop learning they bee giving you the dirt nap! oldgoaly Posted June 26, 2019 Author Share Posted June 26, 2019 Soaked them in molasses for a good week or so. then just lightly ran them on the expander wheel using 120 grit paper. Some minor pitting. They are fairly hard, would not want them too hard anyway if you hit them.
