Frosty
Lsat: Most of us had help learning the craft, some had to figure it out ourselves. I would've loved to have someone to point out my mistakes we may have low blood sugar moments but we're mostly pretty good guys. Like puns? A good pun thread or funny story is never a waste of time. Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
11 hours ago, DHarris said: Oak is said to be less than ideal because it is easy to split, I have three anvils and a post vise mounted on oak stumps, one stump is hollow. They have held up without splitting for over 20- 30 years. I don't think you have anything to worry about. The dynamics of splitting oak with a splitter or maul are different than pounding on one with hammer & anvil.
