Farmall
Found it at an antique store-works good. Going to try and copy it. Anyone have an idea who (as in the company) may have made it or when it was made? thanks.
ThomasPowers
Looks like one to light a torch ot pilot light. Any patent stamping on it?
Farmall
Nothing-no marks, letters, or numbers-clean as a whistle. Works. Pull the trigger rapidly, the flint sparks and the spring resets it to go again. The wire on top is Spring wire and presses down on the flint. Cedar Crest Forge
Cool. Looks like something a gun smith would come up with.
Daswulf
Never saw one like that. This was the strangest one I had ever seen before that one. I keep it in my cool old curious tools drawr till I get time to make a display for the shop wall.
Jim Coke
Greetings Farmall , Back in the day it was common to go to the basement to start the old coil water heater . No pilot light at that time . That striker is long to reach into the burner. Just my thought. Forge on and make beautiful things Jim
