KYBOY
Ive found that diamond makes a 2.5 pound rounding hammer. Seems to be one of the only brands that carry a 2 pound plus rounding hammer. Anyone have any opinions on this brand? Any help would be appreciated.:)
nett
Diamond is kinda like the Chevrolet or Ford of hammers. It's exactly what you see, and will get you there. If you're willing to drop some big bucks, there are a lot of smiths selling custom handmade hammers, some are even members of the forum. If you're interested in a foreign model (continuing with car analogy), Bruce Wilcock will make one to your specs for
rthibeau
Diamond's rounding hammer is a very serviceable hammer, I have one, but I tend to use the ones I make myself so it hasn't gotten much use for a few years.
Frosty
I used mine today as well as the turning hammer I made a while back. Hmmm. Used a couple others too. Felt good. Diamond makes good hammers, mine's about 15 years old and is one of my favorites. Frosty
