Folks have surmised they may have ended up being used (once upon a time) to weight fishing nets or duck decoys though. Sorry when I asked about different weights I hadn't had enough coffee and just scrolled back to the last two photos in that thinking. Clearly in the first photo it shows them as different sizes.
