ThomasPowers
As I'm heading up North and don't expect to be on much for a while due to being busy. I wish you all a Merry Christmas---and as blacksmiths you are on the Double Secret Naughty List where you don't get coal in your stockings! And I'd guess Santa won't be putting propane in my stocking either, not that I'd want him to.

wicon
Merry Christmas to all. My daughter - who recently began blacksmithing too, and i'm proud of her progress - gave me a complete set of new tools for Christmas. Hammer, tong, hardie and anvil. e They are all made of self produced marzipan. The anvil weights 8 pounds!
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
That's great, now you can say "if I'm lying, I'll eat my anvil and actually do it.
ThomasPowers
One year at our Feast of St Dunstan my wife made home made marzipan coal. Fortunately for me most folks were dubious about the black rockish looking chunks and I ended up taking most of it home and eating it over the next several months... Lets see; that was a bit over 30 years ago! Enjoy your anvil and tools!
