ThomasPowers
Did you ask around at the local ABANA Affiliate meetings? There were probably 100 at Quad-State last September; any conferences coming up in your area? Are you in the city or near to it? Have you laced a wanted ad in CraigsList? JHCC
Keep in mind that you only absolutely need two things to do twists: something to hold one end firmly, and something to twist with. I have successfully held workpieces for twisting by clamping them to the side of my anvil with a big C-clamp. Even a hobbyist's bench vise will do fine, if clamped down firmly enough. The big advantage of a post vise is that you can hammer on it. Anything else (bending, twisting, filing, etc) can be done in pretty much any vise of sufficient size.
