Pr3ssure Posted October 7, 2018 Share Posted October 7, 2018 So I took my anvil over to the garage a bit ago, it was almost 9 but I had to fire up the forge and try and beat some metal. So I took a couple heats on this U shape piece of metal I had, they are some type of tow hooks for trucks I think. I beat it straight and tapered it out. I wasn’t trying to make anything, just move metal. At one point I almost started burning the tip off. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I burned a few bits of steel when I got my own fire but it didn't take long to lead the difference between my fire and the one I was using on the course's.
