TheoRockNazz
A set of skinners I forged for a father and two sons. The scales are antler from a deer they hunted with their grandfather before his passing, and the inscription is his initials plus harvest year. Forged 80CrV2 blades with hamon, bronze fittings and brass pins. Any time I can make something special, that has a lot of meaning to a customer and their family, I jump right on it - by far the most rewarding commissions. Sheaths by bladesmith Justin Allen Kirck. Daswulf
What a cool commemoration theo. And something they can pass down. Nice work.
John in Oly, WA
Very nice! I agree with you, creativity with some personal meaning worked in is most rewarding.
Joël Mercier
I like pretty much everything about them, including the story. They look like real performers that are going to be used for generations.
sfeile
Beautiful trio Theo. Great work and a great story behind them.
Frosty
Beautiful work Theo as always. The meaning is too deep for words so I'll let Beautiful across the board stand for my comments. The fellow with the white goatee bears a passing resemblance to a local personality, "Mr. Whitekeys" by name. The dog in the first pic is eyeballing the handles as something yummy to chew. Long term heirlooms that'll grow generations of stories. Frosty The Lucky.

Stormcrow
One of the cool things about custom knives is stories like that.
