Daswulf Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 After the dog head hammer post some ideas traspired. After digging through some hammers tonight I found a junky claw hammer begging for a more interesting life. So here is a Jack... Er. Uh Donkey head hammer. Quote
WayneCoeArtistBlacksmith Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 When I make those I call them "Jack Hammers". I have carried one for "Show and Tell" to SOFA for years and had many people ask to take pictures, asked if I minded if they tried to make one. I always told them to go ahead but send me a picture. I have gotten a number of pictures in return. Try taking another hammer head and forge the face flat to about 3/8" thick and 2" wide and make a "Hammer Head" shark. Quote
HammerMonkey Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 hahaha, I like it Das! very nicely executed. Quote

Daswulf Posted February 23, 2018 Author Posted February 23, 2018 @Shady McGrady I'm already thinking how do do one better lol. The guys and gals at work are getting a kick out of it. Quote
Greebe Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 That is really cool. You should keep it on the hammer rack and when you have someone over that wants to smith, ask them for the ass hammer and see what they do. LOL Quote
