ThomasPowers
Basically those are custom tongs built to work for a specific use---and one not common as a bunch of us have looked at them and scratched our heads. Also it looks like the original user didn't use them heavily because if they had they would have probably ended up forging a cleaner set do to the "you generally have to make 6 of something to get good at it" rule (ok "suggestion")
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
Without knowing the length, they look like a pair of raku kiln tongs we have that are about three feet long.
irontracs
The length is 27 inches
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
At 27 inches, they are hammer head tongs. We have it's brother that an old smith gave us and that's what he said they are, 27 inches also. The other two are pottery tongs I made the center one is 37 inches long and the one on the right is 50 inches long.
ThomasPowers
All my hammer and axe head tongs have Very Substantial inward facing points unlike those small ones.
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
Can't see the points but they look like these.
rockstar.esq
I think Irondragon's answer looks like a winner. I wonder if those tongs were used before the eye was punched to pivot like the haberman style? The relatively small points might leave marks on the cheeks but then again, being small, they might forge out during drifting.
