bebeaux
If you live within a days drive of Cleveland, do yourself a favor and go see the Jazz Age Exhibition. Works by Edgar Brandt, Samuel Yellin, Paul Kiss, and Rose Iron Works are on display. It was magnificent, and it ends on Jan 14, so get your tickets today! You are able to get up close and personal (but no photos within 3 feet please) and see the methods and techniques used on some of the worlds best decorative iron work. Ferrous Beuler
I wish I would have known this in advance as my time is now committed for those dates and I am just up the road three hours from there near Buffalo. Even have family in Kent I could stay with and invite along. Looks great!
ThomasPowers
Will it be travelling to a different venue after it closes there?
JHCC
1 hour ago, ThomasPowers said: Will it be travelling to a different venue after it closes there? It was already at the Cooper Hewitt in NYC from April to August of 2017.
bebeaux
This is the last stop. Some works at the Cooper Hewitt show were only shown there, as well as some exclusive pieces in the Cleveland show. The paperback edition of the book is $40 if you want to see it all. ThomasPowers
Hardback can be found from US$45. I'll probable get a copy; (as soon as my wife forgives me for "The Sword and the Crucible"). I assume it's this one: The Jazz Age: American Style in the 1920s Harrison, Stephen; Coffin, Sarah D.; Orr, Emily M Published by The Cleveland Museum of Art ISBN 10: 0300224052 ISBN 13: 9780300224054
