Steve Sells
Dont mind them you dont have to be crazy to be here. most of us will gladly give you free lessons on the subject. Welcome
Lou L
Welcome aboard. Considering your location you may want to do some reading about timber framing an awning or lean-to. Isn't rain and drizzle somewhat expected in England! There is much for you to read here. I've done many, many hours of reading here and still find topics and subject matter I had not know was already covered. You will be amazed. Have fun, Lou
Tubalcain2
Welcome to the forum. Smithing is really quite simple. Just remember black steel can be hot, yellow steel is hotter. That's about all there is to it. Oh yeah, and "when in doubt use a bigger hammer". If you can remember those three things you're set.
