Each post leaves a cliff hanger as an introduction to the next post. This needs to stay on topic for the continuity of the story. We had enough work at the smithy to keep the forges going all summer. It was a welcome relief when the daytime temperatures started to cool off a bit, and we knew fall was on the way. Everyone was thinking about ....
