Gavin Rondeau
This one is kind of a sister blade to my previously posted walnut-handled one. Gemsbok horn bolster, bird's-eye maple handle, hand-forged 1084 blade. Hand-stitched, wetmolded, veg-tan dangler sheath.

D.IVO
Looks mighty sharp and the fit and finish is perfect!
Gavin Rondeau
D.IVO thanks! I wouldn't say perfect but I was pretty happy with it.
Lou L
It's a really nice kit. I'm a fan of the maple. The full bevel looks really nice and clean but I'm not sure I would baton wood with it. Then again, it's not a survival knife! Awesome work.
templehound
A bit pointy but the Puukoo shape overall is real nice .....take care with that stitching groover.
Gavin Rondeau
Lou L, thanks and you're right. I wouldn't baton with it either but it handles pretty sweet when carving green wood. templehound- thanks! After seeing your work, I consider that high praise. And you're not wrong, I did have a mishap with the groover.
