If you'll put your general location in the header you might be surprised how many of the gang live within visiting distance. Not knowing what you intend to do in your forge I still believe you're making a really common mistake and building too large. 18" is REALLY large, I know I've made that particular mistake a number of times. <sigh> Frosty The Lucky.
