ThomasPowers
Got a powerhammer? Do you know which alloy of stainless it is? (304, 316, ... 440C ?)
Hawk200
Nope, no powerhammer. NO idea what the stainless is either. nothing identifying marks on it.
Lou L
Check to see if it attracts a magnet and then google search types of stainless steel. You will learn more doing that first than you will pounding on it on your anvil. I avoid stainless because it is really tricky unless you exactly what type it is...and then it is only tricky.
