ThomasPowers Posted May 30, 2017 Share Posted May 30, 2017 How many blades have you heat treated? 200? 400? More? Sample size is very important when you say you have never had these results... The surface needs to be cleaned up after heat treat and as long as it hardened you are good. Can't tell if you got it too hot, what is the grain size when you break it?
