Frosty
When it was established Memorial Day was intended to remember those who've passed. I've been spending time remembering my Grandmothers, my Parents, Uncles and Aunts and friends and acquaintances who have passed. Originally it was all inclusive. However remembering the passed has to take into account how and why they lost their lives and if we don't hold a special place for those who died protecting us and our freedom then we aren't worthy. I am saying thanks and remembering our military, law enforcement, EMS, and all who serve others whether they lost their lives as a result or died in bed from old age surrounded by friends relative and maybe lovers. I don't know all your names, never met you and that doesn't matter. Here's to all who've passed on. I won't forget. Thank you. Glenn
Well said Frosty. Those that have passed can not hear us say thank you, but those still with us can hear the words and gratitude if we thank them.
