Just got this from a guy in work yesterday - it's in pretty decent condition. From a quick bit of research it's a reasonably young one - you can just about make out 'England' stamped into it so post 1910 if my research is correct?

Looks like she's been asleep for awhile. Like any old girl out of the mix for some time should clean up real nice and be eager to get right back to the dance.

There is some discussion about the 1910 date.  The trade law required it after 1910; however that was nothing preventing companies from stamping it before that law came into action.   But it's a decent date to use if you HAVE to have a date and you are using a brand without documented serials or date stamping.

The age is not important - it's nice to know a little history of the tools used but the important thing is that they ARE used!
