How to stack material on a full tang knife?

Also consider assembling the handle as one block like it would be a hidden tang then rip lengthwise down the middle on a bandsaw to turn it into two scales. I've done this once with just different woods (project was ultimately a fail because one of the woods used was just too soft and didn't finish well). Doing it as one block then ripping it makes sure the two sides end up perfectly matching.

Makes sense!
