Frosty
No CAFFEINE! Holy Mackerel you DO need prayers! I'll have a couple extra cups every morning till you report back in. If the forum has become pro RR spike knife, plaster of Paris, sand and perlite forge, etc. I'll tell you about it, I'll be waiting on the other side. Be well, don't play too convincing jokes on the candy stripers. There ARE ways of getting even. Frosty The Lucky.

ThomasPowers
Just learned they want me to do a 4th night in a row with only 4 hours of sleep! No seizures yet and so they hope no sleep will increase the chance---as I've only had 6 in 12 years a 5 day study doesn't look promising... Typing is hard with 2 fingers with O2 sensors taped on. (My current "personal best" is 48 leads on me: 26 glued to my head, 2 sets of 10 for eeg and the 2 O2 sensors) Add in the 2 hoses for the cycling leg compression and I have 50 things that have to get unhooked just to visit the facilities. Luckily they are ganged and the brain leads connect into a long cord! My wife took a picture for my kids, I look rather like Santa in the hands of the mad scientists! SLAG
Thomas, Good luck with the extra day. Hopefully it will prove to be productive. I really feel for you having to beaver along under four hours sleep. Ouch! We are all on your side. Hang in there. SLAG.
ThomasPowers
Coffee or tea does not work well when recovering from a TURP and having to request a nurse to come unhook everything and escort you to the bathroom. Looking forward to this all being over and not having to have my wife drive me to the scrapyard in her vehicle!
ThomasPowers
WOOT! NO SIGN OF EPILEPSY IN MY EEG AFTER 4 DAYS OF SLEEP DEPRIVATION! They are turning me loose to follow my endocrinologist and neurologists suggestions as the seizures I had last year "are probably due to blood sugar crashes". I may have to go with CGMS (Continuous Glucose Monitoring System) but I'll probably get my life back...And Monday I go back to work.

Glenn
No seizures in 4 nights in a row with only 4 hours of sleep each night. If they had handed you a piece of wrought iron on the 4th day while you were being monitored, they could have recorded "vapor lock" in real time. Glad you are able to rejoin the world. Take it slow till you can build up speed.

Frosty
Excellent Thomas, big 10-4 on the negative results! You are of course going to post pics of the mad scientist Santa yes? Don't make me send the minions after you! Frosty The Lucky.
ThomasPowers
I'll see if my wife will send them to me. Thanks for all the good thoughts. I'm finally back down at my casita with a dozen T posts to set for a new fence and a new forge to finish off and work starting Monday and it's hot! ThomasPowers
Just went to the fleamarket, saw a 16# sledge and a bunch of smaller sledges and more ballpeens than you could shake a stick at. Unfortunately I was looking for a 3/4" drill bit and didn't find one. I did by a flat of huge Mangos dead ripe...It's good to be driving again!
