canada goose
I finished building a tire hammer , using the Clay Spencer plans , a few weeks ago . Have put enough time in using it to declare it a success . The plans ,which I followed as close as I could, were excelllent . Very concise , but containg all the info needed . I was lucky to have access to a good horizontal band saw which made getting out the parts ,precisely, much easier. I'm pretty pleased with this design . Raymond Head was a good source of more uncommon parts needed such as the spring . His email is em.forge@ gmail.com . Happy to answer questions. On further thought I've often felt pretty beat after using my own tools. I stand corrected. Thanks for pointing that out, you're certainly living up to your reputation for helpfulness John. JHCC
It's all an elaborate ploy to make you all think I'm more of an asset to IFI than I really am.

WoodnMetalGuy
Looks like it goes well. It will be fun to see it with some hot metal in there vs. the wooden board! -- Dave
