Forgingnoob Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 I have very little electrical know how. Do any of you guys mind lending me a hand on what I need to do to get this motor running Quote
ThomasPowers Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Well first you have to tell us if you will be running it on 110 or on 220. Quote
Steve Sells Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 green wire to the case of the motor, black : connected to wires marked 1,3 and 5 white : connected o the wires marked 2,4, and 6 make sure to tape over all exposed connections and replace cover. Black wire should have a on/off switch House light switch works fine if you dont have anything else Quote
John in Oly, WA Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 And as the label says - to reverse rotation swap wires 5 and 6 (or 8?). In the photo, it's hard to tell if that's a 6 or an 8. I thought 8 at first glance. Quote
Forgingnoob Posted January 27, 2017 Author Posted January 27, 2017 It's and 8 the label is rubbed a bit there. Quote

They can show you how to wire the motor up, answer all your questions, and bench test it if it is needed, No shops locally, then contact the manufacturer. They know the motor and how to make it work for you. Quote
