Matt Marti
Recent hammer we forged out at the shop. Steel used was 4340.
Jimmyiorn
Nice hammer, I will be making myself one in the future but still working on the tools to do so
Mark Ling
As I've said already, I really like that design using the larger fullers! And the octagonal billet adds a nice touch. Good things sometimes happen when you take too little of steel or too much! causes you to get creative, and change your design a bit. Remember my fuller? Lol. VaughnT
Very nice design. I could see me swinging a hammer like that!
Catweazle
That's excellent. I have a long piece of 4340 myself, but not yet the skills to make that hammer. For future reference, what heat treatment did the hammer get ?
