onotoman Posted March 6, 2020 Share Posted March 6, 2020 Hi @Gaznazdiak You will probably have different centering issues depending on the particular belt and attachment fitted at any particular time. The shaft that holds the contact wheel on my grinder can be moved left and right, so if the idler wheel wont centre the belt I just move the shaft around until things line up. Gaznazdiak Posted March 6, 2020 Share Posted March 6, 2020 Thanks for getting back to me so promptly Dave. No mate, my contact wheel and shaft are solid as a rock. Then standing there looking at it I had a sudden rush of blood to the head. The belt seemed a little loose so I pulled the idler down, moved the platen out a bit and let the idler piston push the belt up and Robert's your mother's brother.
