Has anyone ever worked in a plastic shed before? Thoughts on it? I worked in ne for a good while and have since upgraded to the steel shed adjacent to the plastic:D. From constantly welding and grinding to forging and forge-welding and everything else that goes on, the only problem I ever had was if I dropped a piece of steel that was hot the floor would begin melting... but other than that, she worked like a charm!

I wouldn't ever forge in a plastic shed- why tempt fate every time a bit of scale flies off and begins to melt pieces here and there? Its asking for poisoning from plastic fumes...

By way of demonstration, this is what happened yesterday when some hot coals fell out of my forge and into a plastic basin that I had left a bit too close.
