couple of hammers

hello every one! I have been busy the last couple of days making some hammers. these are both 2.5lbs, and I think one might be heading to Sweden! rounding hammer, and straight peen. forged from 1.75" 1045, 14" hickory handle..... I want to keep them!

Nice work! What you said about the char handles feeling like rubber just happened to me! I oiled it and now it feels very grippy! I personally like it like that. Thank you for all your help Ethan.

yes, I will let you know! I would not want to miss out on such opportunity! I will have to do that under the press, so I must make tooling first.

Super work! I wish I had started so young! You are a true Smith in mind and heart. It is enlightening to bear witness to your passion for the trade. It reminds me. Thanks for the vid.
