Hello all-

I started my interest in metal some years ago and became a welder/fabricator which still has my heart but have ventured down the career path of becoming a machinist the last two years. I knew it was only a matter of time before wanting to expand my knowledge with more techniques, forms and processes of metal working and that time is now. I am aware there is a plethora of knowledge and information on this site but I am looking for some people in or around my area that i can learn from and work with heading down this new journey of mine. I am also in search of a small amount of kaowool and or ICT-100 that I would be able to purchase as apposed to buying more than i know what to do with and pay a ridiculous  amount for shipping. Any other knowledge or information is welcome and appreciated.
