External wood window covers? Here we call then shutters. Not sure what the English call them.

Nice hinges and barrels. Just curious about the barrels. I assume they are rolled rather than welded. Do you cut sections from the flat stock before rolling, or do you roll the entire width and then hacksaw and chisel? Bending after cutting is shown on youtube.com, "Manuel Guerra's Lockmaking shop." Manuel is shown working on a barrel hot, while his helper inserts the appropriate mandrel.

Great designs. I like the elegant curve on the bird ones. Neat use of the 'eye' screw hole too.
