llen
I am Llen from Deep Dark Africa (South) I am looking forward participating and learning from you. Like Smithing, this site is intimidating in it's enormity, but I am sure I will be able to handle it in the end.

Frosty
Welcome aboard Llen, glad to have you. If you'll put your general location in the header you might be surprised how many of the IFI gang live within visiting distance. Seriously we have a number of folk living in SA. Think about the site like it's a coffee shop, pub or whatever the friendly local meeting place in SA is called, where the guys gather to talk, swap gossip, tell tales and help each other out. It isn't so intimidating when you think about like meeting a group of friends, some of which you've never seen before. Pull up a stool, pour yourself a cyber beer and talk to the gang. On the other hand if you pay ANY attention to how many people are IFI members, the countries represented, how many posts are made every day, all the sections, topics, blue prints, how to's, videos, etc. you can find here and do a count, I suppose it can be a little overwhelming. So don't pay any attention to how MUCH knowledge is here, how many centuries of experience is available. Just pic something you're interested in, if you don't know anything about it, read the section to get a working handle on it and start talking to the gang. Just take it one bite at a time, you'll feel right at home in no time. Frosty The Lucky.

If you have any questions just use the search function at the top, if you still cant find the answer ask and someone (more like lots of someones) will be more than glad to stear you in the right direction, or answer your questions!
