Frozenforge
Fluidsteel. Thats part of my dilemma. It has character the way it is but is not as functional as it could be.
Charles R. Stevens
Document the restoration and make up a poster to display in your shop. Best of both worlds.
Sluicebox
Frozenforge - How thick can you get the top plate? I read only 3 passes. Does 1/8" rod times 3 passes only give you 3/8"? What size rods do you recommend with the Stoody? Say for like 4"x8" full depth top plate on a PW, how many pounds roughly would that take? The surrounding plate is only 1/2" thick. Frosty
Okay, where was the anvil? Heck, my dented old head isn't even sure if you made it Saturday. If you didn't make it it was a pretty good meeting, congratulations you WON the election! Frosty The Lucky.
Frozenforge
Unfortunately I had it all planned to attend then got ill with whatever my son was sick with during the week. I figured it best not to share, and stayed in bed most of the day. I'm beginning to think higher powers don't want me to attend one of these meetings! Frosty
Bummer, there are a lot of bugs going around. I think I can speak for everybody when I say we all appreciate you not sharing. If you're still included in the CC E-mail list Jim H. started you can keep up sort of on what happened and hopefully what we're thinking of doing. The next meeting is 04/18/15 at Jim H.'s in Anchorage. Frosty The Lucky.
