Looks like they possibly started out with 1/8" thick flat stock and split it for the wings? Doesn't appear to be forge welded anywhere. John B Posted December 16, 2014 Share Posted December 16, 2014 That looks to be flat bar, split into 3 from each end, opened to form wings, wings shaped, cut off central piece one end and shape/punch eyes etc for the head, cut off opposite central piece to suitable length and draw out and form tail, Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
