Fellini
Hi folks, I would like to build power hammer which is similar to the one in the picture attached. Any drawing/design for a similar hummer will be appreciated. Regards, Fellini

Frosty
Fellini: That's a treadle hammer, not a power hammer. Trying to power that type hammer is harder than building a hammer designed for power from the start. IFI has a large section devoted to power hammers and building them with quite a few dimensioned drawings. Frosty The Lucky.
SJS
and if you are interested in building an "inline" treadle hammer, I believe the plans are still available for sale...
Jim Coke
Hey guys,,, That's a power hammer ... Its powered by Cheerios or what you had for breakfast... AND ... Its cordless.. LOL All kidding aside ... Lots of references on power hammer builds... Look up tire hammers on this thread .... Easy to build and effective. Forge on and make beautiful things Jim
jeremy k
https://www.abana.org/store/ABANAStore.shtml yes the plans are still available - scroll down to "plans and patterns"
Fellini
Thank you folks for the help. The "Plans for The In Line Treadle Hammer (C. Spencer)" is defently a good starting point. I'll post the picture of the final product of the Treadle hummer (not the power hammer...) when it will be ready. Cheers, Fellini
