Pipe Tomahawk

Recommended Posts

The hawk is made from a billet of 400 plus layers and is 8" long with a 3" edge. Total length is about 23" with a Curly Maple handle that was made from a 2" block.

The mouthpiece is antler and Buffalo horn. The smoke hole stopper is also Buffalo horn and this screws into a fancy piece of my inscription damascus.

The blade was forged out and all the shaping has been done by file work.

Another breath taking piece Mick. I'm pretty much out of superlatives and beautiful is so weak a term.

That is really a nice piece of workmanship with details that show your craftsman skills. I have several really quality built hawks, but I would be really proud to have that in my collection. As Teddy "R" would have said. BULLY !!!

Whoa there, you included your signature in the pattern?

Is that a common thing that I missed?

Need time to process this
