Here you have another just finished:

Blade: Forged 5160, 11.5cm long, 3.6cm wide and 0.4cm thick at the ricasso which decreases progressively to the tip. I finished polishing "semi-mirror"

Handle: Steel Guard F-114, slice bull horn, aluminum spacer and heart of holly oak. Length 11.5cm.

Total length: 22.5cm and weight of 139gr.

i love the words in your description too - where else would you get "bull horn and heart of holly oak" its so poetic!

Glad that you like. To do the heat treatment, I put an iron pipe in the forge. When the tube is hot, put the blade inside. I check the temperature with a magnet, and when reached the antimagnetic point , wait a minute, and Immediately dip the blade into vegetable oil used, approximately 50 ° C. I check the hardness with a file. When the blade is cold, I do three tempered in an electric furnace at 200 ° C
