kayakersteve Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Here is a pendant that I made from a small piece of leftover billet - It is a 66 layer billet made from 1095, 1084 and 15n20. Quote
scoobshagg Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 That's awesome, I've been meaning to do something like this also. Quote
vapremac Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Nice work ! May I suggest a slight chamfer in the hole to where the rope is........to me it would give the piece a more "softer" appearance. Keep up the good work! Quote
kayakersteve Posted December 31, 2013 Author Posted December 31, 2013 @vapremac - Funny you stated that - I have since done that and it does soften the lines - Thanks Quote
kayakersteve Posted January 1, 2014 Author Posted January 1, 2014 Here is another leftover piece of Damascus that I ground a cross figure into then finished flattening to bring to lower Damascus layers into the cross. Really cool learning how to influence the steel to make specific shapes. Quote

kayakersteve Posted January 2, 2014 Author Posted January 2, 2014 @vapremac - No - I am in the medical field as a physician assistant - This is just what I like to do for fun! Quote
