Solano
I have looked thru the past forums and enjoyed seeing the forged Christmas gifts and ornaments, but would like to bump up a new thread if anyone would like to share what they are making this year. Thanks. Vince
Everything Mac
I'm making most of my gifts this year. Can't post pics from where I am but I've done a letter opener made from a spanner (wrench) and a horse shoe letter stand for my sister. Solano
Here are a few things I have made for Christmas gifts. I am a total beginner to this craft so any good critique would be appreciated. I have been at this less than a year and maybe get 10-15 hours a month of practice. I have been lucky enough to spend some time with experienced smiths and that is certainly the way to start. Some of the posted items have been donated to a fundraiser. I owe alot of the project ideas to the good smiths and contributors to IFI Some of these things are first's of item. Maybe this is in the wrong forum if one of the moderators would move it appropriately.
Camero68
They all look great and great Christmas gifts. Like the crosses and the candles holders. The rose is really pretty. Great job!
Paul Crosby
Very nice work! I see you have mastered the split cross. I've made a few myself but most of the times they seem to break on me. I'm sure they will appreciate the gifts.
Kal
These are my first attempts at Chrismas ornaments. The large one is really too heavy for most trees and neither one is very straight. Something to hang in my shop. :) Merry Christmas to All y'all
