KAB
Can anyone help me identify and give me any info on this anvil I purchased? I'm just a beginner from Central PA. Need any help I can get. Its approximately 140 pounds. It is marked with a "C" inside a Triangle on one side, and a "Z" on the other. If anyone could give me the make, year, history of the manufacturer, anything, that would be awesome knowledge to know. Here is a poor picture of the side with the "Z" mark. Greatly Appreciated! Fatfudd
Boy that is a poor picture. From your description it's a Colombian anvil but but other than that if I asked you what year my pickup truck is because its gray we'd be asking about the same question. Colombian anvils were cast steel anvils and are very high quality. Since we can't tell anything about it from your picture I can't tell you much else. VaughnT
Top shelf anvil, there! Columbia made good stuff, and you got one that's in great shape. I hope you have many years of happy forging on it!

KAB
Thanks! I wonder what the Z and T are marked for? Maybe some reference to the year or maker?
