Eddie Mullins
Wasn't sure where to post this but thought a share a couple of the crosses I am making. These are riveted 1/8" flat stock, textured with a cross pein. These 2 are a 9x13 and a 4x6.

Eddie Mullins
Thanks. I am having a harder time getting a good pic than making the crosses LOL. Here's an attempt at another pic, including a middle sized 6x9 cross. No improvement on the pic though.
Ridgewayforge
Those are simple and elegant! Very nice work. I like how you managed to get it to look like pine bark, a little bit. I may have to steal such a simple design for my own use!
Frosty
Looking good Eddie. Turn the flash off on your camera and put the light to the side so it doesn't reflect so strongly. The texture is going to show strong highlights regardless of how you shoot it unless you make a light box. An easy light box can be a piece of frosted plastic with the light on the far side. Even easier in the field is one ply of or toilet of nose tissue over the flash to diffuse the light. Digital cameras do pretty well if you just put the subject next to a bright window and shoot the pic from a distance, standing by the wall the window is in. This keeps the light from reflecting straight back at the lens. Frosty The Lucky.
Camero68
They look good, like the textures and the cool primitive style. Nice work!
