oldanvilyoungsmith
Made this a couple weeks ago for my mother's birthday, she'd been asking me about making one awhile, so it was time to make it. The idea is basically a really large shepherds hook, with extra hooks on it. This one has four hooks, two plain hooks, and one "Ramshorn hook" on the front. It's made to go near a window, so has no hook on the back.

DSW
I like the use of rivets for this. Sort of sets it apart from the cheap Walmart stuff.
Dan C
Beautiful piece, I'm glad there are additional pictures at the link. What size stock did you use? That would be a wonderful gift for one of my bird lover friends.
oldanvilyoungsmith
Thanks guys, glad ya'll like it. Dcraven, the post is 5/8" sq, and since I just used material I had around, instead of buying more stuff, the ramshorn (double) hook is made from 1/2" sq, one of the long hooks is made from 3/8" dia, and the other from 1/4" dia. petere76
Very nice, I like the rivets. Aren't those little critters entertaining. I watch them outside the kitchen window when I do dish duty, always entertaining. Peter
GustavDebels949
Very nice, i love the handmade look to it. How is it set in the ground?
Camero68
Beautiful and wonderful bird feeder! Great design and well executed. It must be fun to see the birds using it.
Frosty
Very nice, I like it. It gives me ideas like a combination hummer feeder wind chime. I'm thinking maybe one balanced delicately enough that the hummers would make it turn and ring as they fed. Yeah yeah, that's probably kind of out there even for me. Frosty The Lucky.
