antigoth24
When at my wits end I figured I should ask everyone here if they could point me in the right direction or had any ideas. I'm trying to find a supply of Curly or flaming birch and if possible in the Minnesota/Wisconsin area. Does anyone have any ideas or leads? Thanks in advance. Rich Hale
There is a list of suppliers in the knife making lessons section. Was that of any help at all? I can bet that at least two of them would ship to me if I dialed them up.and the material would be top notch. We compiled that list so folks would not have to reach their wits end! :)
Michael
I get really nice figured birch at the Home Depot here on the West Coast. From the trim rack. Sometimes you can talk the cashier into cutting the price for the "defective" trim stock. Sorry, not really helping, but is funny what's scarce in one part of the country is plentiful scrap in another.
Mr.M
Rockler has a descent supply usually if you are looking local.
