DSW
I picked up this little pump forge from the guy I was helping with a demo last week. I was wondering if anyone here can help identify it and give me an idea of it's age. I couldn't find any obvious name on the unit. It's got a decent sized crack that's been repaired, but I think it's worth the $50 I paid for it. Thoughts on lining the pan with refractory to help keep this in decent shape for demos? seldom (dick renker)
i would line it and use it. nice catch. cant tell you how old it is but is most likely not a teenager anymore. i had one like that that i carried in my truck when i was shoeing horses in the 70s. ThomasPowers
Small forges like that were pretty much made by every large hardware supply business at the time and so with out markings it will be very hard to lock down a maker unless it has some oddball tweak that might identify it in a catalog. Keep an eye open for patents too!

3DistinctKnocks
Whatever it is, it sure is a good looking forge!
Ridgewayforge
With that crack, lining it could present some issue with rusting underneath inside the crack due to condensation.
metal99
I just got a forge exactly like that one! No markings or anything. It would be cool to find out who made it. Do these pump forges have a lot of value?
